About the Dentist

Dr. Perry graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. from Boston College. He received his D.M.D. from Boston University, as well as an M.S. in Dental Research from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Perry is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists and the Academy of Dentistry International. He is a Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and also Director of Tufts' Gavel Center for Restorative Dental Research.

Dr. Perry has published numerous articles and abstracts. In addition to his dental practice and teaching responsibilities, he lectures noth nationally and internationally on a variety of topics in dentistry.

FAGD - Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry - General dentists do not specialize in any one facet of dentistry. According to the AGD, an FAGD "has been recognized by other dentists as a leader who is committed to quality patient care through continuing dental education." An FAGD dentist must earn a minimum of 500 approved continuing dental education credits and pass a comprehensive 400-question examination; s/he must also be an Academy of General Dentistry member for five continuous years.

AACD Accredited Member - An Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry® has completed extensive advanced training and education in cosmetic dentistry. In addition, this dentist has successfully passed a rigorous Accreditation Board Examination. An Accredited Member is a licensed dentist who has demonstrated a very high level of technical skill and clinical ability in cosmetic dentistry.
